Haden STARK, one of the old time employees of the Midland,
died in Greenville, Ohio May 29. He was the son of Arquilla &
Martha IVEY Stark and was born near Ladoga March 10, 1872. He
fired under Wilder Rinehart, but after becoming an engineer was
so unlucky as to overturn an engine at Carbon and was let out. He
then went to Greenville where he got employment as a moulder in a
foundry and remained the rest of his life. He is survived by his
wife, who was a Miss Ida Smith of Greenville; one son, Charles
and a grandson, Lowell. His mother is still living. A brother,
Bert Stark, is still with the Midland, now the Central
